Your teens are usually the first point in your life that you might gather an interest in the paranormal activity or the occult, There's plenty of explanations why, usually we are still young and still possess a sense of mystery about the world. The need to pay the bills hasn't dulled our senses from a continuous cycle of working to support ourselves. A lot of young people are still mentally fresh, being full of wonders and possibilities. Some even imagine that mystical and otherworldly things are not just make believe fairy tale's and approach these subjects without the ordinary skepticism. For whatever reason we decide to study and or practice the occult, Even though innocent in our curiosity. My experience, I hope. can be taken into consideration.
Writing this now from a more mature perspective, I can relate to the occult with a sense of gravity and responsibility that previously wasn't there.
At that time I was in contact with certain people who by my understanding were successfully practicing occult phenomena, to my knowledge they had successfully completed rituals, i.e produced spiritual manifestations. So I looked up to them, followed them and gained enough insight in order to be able to copy whatever methods they had, in the hopes of reproducing a 'successful' ritual. They were using older occult rituals for summoning darker spirits, The idea didn't daunt me. I reasoned if that if they were still unharmed, there can't be too much danger in doing it myself. I was caught in the awe of the fact, that before me, were people, who for all intents and purposes, were capable of summoning spirits, real magic, I believed it. I guess deep down, I needed confirmation, I just wanted to see something. To remove my doubt and prove it was real.
So now I, because of these strange people I had met, Knew the methods necessary to achieve my goal. The stage was set, I was ready. Up until this point, I had no real life experience with performing any kind of esoteric ritual, only what I had learned from others, but I had read all the necessary steps, committing them to heart, I also enjoyed the perceived power and somehow being different and the fantasized attention this could bring me.
This is when things began.
Weeks, before I had planned to carry out the ritual, I had a strange dream, I'm calling it that. but maybe it was more like a visitation, because it certainly did not feel like a dream. I woke up, becoming fully conscious of my surroundings, floating above the floor, looking down into the bedroom, which at the time was in a friends house. I could see what appeared to be my etheric body in the corner of the room. In front of it an entity, exactly identical to what I intended on summoning. We were talking to each other I could hear what was being said at first, then the words faded out, I was just watching in third person. This situation did not unfold like a nightmare, there was no fear or emotions attached. It was like an observation or an exchange, all the while I was watching from a fixed point, observing the situation. It was like I had three bodies, the first floating observing, the second in communication with the entity, and my real body asleep in bed. Immediately after this which took about a minute, I woke up,This happened 12 years prior to writing this blog.
This profound moment impacted my life but did disturb me to the point of affecting my daily routine, For the next two weeks I went to school as normal joked and laughed, never mentioning it to anyone. After those two weeks had passed, I had some friends staying over on the weekend, just mucking around like usual, It seemed to me, a good enough point as any to bring up the idea. ''Who wants to summon a daemon'', I asked my friends jokingly. ''Haha, why not'' they responded in the same humour. Perfect, because I had the right amount of people, Our bodies could emit more etheric substance to provide an etheric platform for it to manifest. no one really believed anything would happen, but it seemed like a fun thing at the time, I told everyone what they had to do and their part in the ritual. We spent an hour or so doing all the necessary preparations.
So we all got together and starting performing the incantations etc, and true to reality, nothing was happening. Our enthusiasm and excitement slowly died as we kept on repeating the incantations.We continued performing the ritual though, until we got tired. At this point, some of my friends starting to talk amongst themselves, breaking the concentration for the ritual. We were a little frightened regardless, maybe because it was night time and the weather was a little ominous looking or we just had overactive imaginations. So eventually not being able to sit forever in a circle of protection, we had to get out, but nobody wanted to leave the circle. We were afraid, we kept talking and came up with the idea that maybe something was out there. Eventually curiosity or boredom got got to us and one of my friends and I decided to go investigate the area we couldn't see behind an opening in a wall outside, So I grabbed a spotlight and went with my friend to investigate.
We walked up slowly to the opening, pretty much just stood there staring into the pitch black. I flicked on the spotlight and something was floating directly in front us, staring at us straight in the eye only for about a second. It was that entity again, same as I had seen in my dream but much bigger about 8 foot high. the two of us were just staring at it, I'll never ever forget that moment. The light did not go through its body. Even though the spotlight lit up everything It did not light this up. you could see straight through it, it didn't disappear. you could see clearly the dark outline of its form, After that initial moment, it shot away to the right out of sight. We both saw it move, but I stress now this was not how it was supposed to happen according to the ritual,
After this it was strange to explain what we did, I think excitement overcame any fear that we had actually seen it, and I was thanking god I was not alone, we slowly walked back and told the others who were still waiting in the circle of protection. We explained everything to them. After the event everybody reported a strange feeling, lightheaded and different. also I remember seeing a faint dull green glow around other people.
In hindsight I have realized some possible dangers of what I have done.
1. Due to the nature of the ritual, we the participants as part of this particular ritual were in essence offering ourselves as sacrifice to the entity.
2. Due to our ignorance and lack of understanding. We had no idea on how to control the situation and return whatever we has brought out of the closet.
3. Due to our lack of any psychic skill, how can we know the effect of what we have done, how can we know if its still hanging around or attempting to pursue its own agenda (for the weeks months afterwards, does this explain why I again saw this entity in the following months)
4. How do you know the entity is not attached to the summoners through etheric threads.
5. Manipulation, Haunting (voices, apparations, creation of fear based thoughts, nightmares etc, etheric instability.
6. Through creating a bond you are providing a gateway though your connection to the entity and its development of its energy within you. which it can in turn use to feed off, attract and bring forth other entities which resonate to a similar energy frequency that you are now creating.
7. I assume the spirit is not totally ignorant of technology and allowed itself to be seen by me turning the spotlight on, was this the purpose of the dream, did it meet its obligations. if so what are the repercussions of that if any.
Moreover, How come the 'dream' occurred before the event, does this mean my thoughts were picked up just by simply having 'intent', or is that from their perspective, time is not linear and the future event was already realized, therefore they can know events and actions before they happen? How can you outmaneuver an entity aware of the future?
Ok, after having this experience I think to myself why did I choose to summon a spirit that has a negative energy body. Why not attempt to make contact with positive higher energy entities, holy spirits etc. Later I found some spiritual clubs or medium centres, places where this can be done. (from experience not all 'spiritual meetups' are very good unfortunately, but there's diamonds in the rough)
